Sasquatch is Done!

Well its been a little while since I've updated his blog, but I'm happy to say the book is finally all laid out and will be off to the printer either today or tomorrow. The final page count is 256 pages with 27 stories. Major props to the 40+ people who have been involved in this project.

It's really been amazing seeing this thing come together, from the long drive back from San diego, to the many nights of seeing the pages coming in, all the way to tonight, when I've had the joy of reading the complete book in pdf format. I know it'll be 10 times sweeter when I get the final print version in my hands to read it from cover to cover! Once again, many thanks to all those who have contributed to the book.

Round two of our concept work sees the design of various machines and vehicles, as well as some field kit, another environment shot, and a character design, all produced specifically for the Viper story. Along with these concepts we’ve also included the first MOON! Sasquatch teaser we did for the web at the start of Feb, which shows art from the story itself.

Sasquatch vs. UFOs by Greg Gatlin

A few days ago we showed you Sasquatch in MOON!, now here's a glimpse of Greg Gatlin's story. Greg has contributed to many Viper projects, including Dead@17: Rough Cut, plus he's lettering many of the stories in Sasquatch. He's also the mastermind behind this site.

“Hey-hey Bigfoot-lovers!

Here’s a selection of concept work we put together in the early stages of working on our MOON! story for the book. As there were a lot of new environments and characters created just for the story, we went pretty in-depth with the design sheets, some of which made it to the page almost exactly as you see them here, others were tweaked for the final boards, while others still were scrapped altogether.
